DEBBAT Madani Hamza h.debbat@gmail.com
This research aims to answer the following question: How can recruitment practices promote the establishment of a utilitarian approach to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)? We also sought to demonstrate the existence of a concrete and significant relationship between a profit-oriented vision of CSR and recruitment practices that respect human rights, equal opportunity, and non-discrimination in hiring. To achieve this objective, we conducted a questionnaire-based survey among upper- and middle-level managers in two companies: Algérienne des Eaux and LafargeHolcim Algérie. Through this study, we sought to explore managers’ perceptions of the recruitment practices implemented within their organizations and the CSR approach adopted, in order to identify causal links between these two variables. A logical positivist stance was adopted, leading to the use of a quantitative methodology. The statistical tests performed revealed a positive and significant relationship between responsible recruitment practices and a utilitarian approach to CSR.
2025-11-08T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal for ReAttach Therapy and Developmental Diversities https://mail.jrtdd.com/index.php/journal/article/view/3754 The Impact of Employing E-Learning Technologies on Improving University Teaching Performance : A Field Study at Kasdi Merbah University – Ouargla from Students' Perspective 2025-09-26T17:30:17+00:00 Dr. Souigat Mohamed Najib souigatnadjib@gmail.com
The growing interest in enhancing university teaching performance has paralleled the integration of modern technologies and diverse instructional tools in higher education. The psychological variables constituted personality, family environment and perceived social support of the inmates. The study also drew comparisons between the offenders and normal population. The study was conducted in three districts of Mizoram (Aizawl, Lunglei and Champhai). The Revised NEO Personality Inventory (NEO PI-R; Costa & McCrea, 1992) was used as a measure of personality. The test measures 5 dimensions of personality – neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness. 2 dimensions – cohesion and conflict, of the Family Environment Scale (FES-BC; Bhatia & Chada, 1993) was used for studying family environment. The Multi-dimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS; Zimet, et al., 1988) was used as a measure of perceived social support. The sample size of the convicts under NDPS Act was 141. The normal population comparison sample size was 78.Quantitative analysis was done using SPSS. Descriptive statistics was used to highlight the mean and standard deviation of all the subscales of the three psychological measures in both the two samples (Offenders and normal). T-test was used to compare the means of the two samples in all the subscales of the 3 psychological variables.
2025-07-18T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal for ReAttach Therapy and Developmental Diversities https://mail.jrtdd.com/index.php/journal/article/view/3629 Effects of Collage-oriented Group Art Therapy on the University Life Adaptation and Life Satisfaction of University Students with Disabilities 2025-06-09T06:25:32+00:00 Jindeok Han iakow_80@hanmail.net
Introduction: Students' maladjustment to college life not only negatively affects individual psychological health and social adaptation but also increases the dropout rate, which incurs social costs such as re-admission; if this situation persists, such students may experience difficulties in adapting to college life as well as lower life satisfaction. Emotional intelligence plays an integral role in life skills pedagogical content knowledge, therefore, EI Life-skills intervention programme was developed and implemented to equip bullies with emotional and social competence and empathetic skills that will enable them to constructively solve conflicts. Quantitative research method was used to collect and analyze data for the study. The total sample of (n=40) participants comprised of Grade 09 learners between the ages of 13-15 were selected. The choice of the sample was motivated by the fact that the selected learners were bullying perpetrators. The (n=40) were evenly distributed into two groups, namely, Group A (experimental) and Group B (control) 57.5% were males and 42.5% were females. The Schutte Self-Report Emotional Intelligence Test (SSEIT) (1998) was used to collect data from the participants. Pre-test and post-test trials were conducted. The effectiveness of the programme was assessed to determine whether it can be used as an intervention tool to decrease bullying behaviour from those who bully others. Participants in the experimental group scored higher in overall EI when compared to participants in the control group post-intervention. This suggests that EI as a life-skills programme can be a powerful intervention tool in preventing bullying by fostering empathy, improving communication, and enhancing social skills among learners.
2022-10-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal for ReAttach Therapy and Developmental Diversities
